I find that Marion's enthusiastic love of Paris is well-matched by her knowledge of how the city works. Marion's familiarity with the intricacies of French bureaucracy is a great blessing to a bewildered Paris newcomer. Her patient and thoughtful assistance can range from speaking French to help enroll a child in an out-of-school activity, to providing a Parisian's perspective of Paris which I have not found in any of the many available guide books.

Marion is a very friendly informed guide who helped me to become familiar with, and comfortable in, Paris. I am a country person, and finding myself in the middle of a big city was a horrid shock for me. Marion introduced me to many of the lovely gardens and parks in the city, some of them hidden away and certainly not to be found by the casual tourist, and this helped me to cope with city life. Marion also encouraged me with my schoolgirl French. She knows Paris very well and can certainly fill you in on the kind of details you learn only through living in Paris --and not from guide books.
