Marion Reuter of FIT FOR PARIS holds a degree in Social Work from Evangelische Fachhochschule Freiburg, Germany and has lived in Paris since 1993. She has experienced culture shock herself and understands what it feels like when everything is new and unfamiliar.
As she sought to adapt to the French culture, Marion started to explore Paris and got to know its people. Now she is eager to share the insights she has gained about what matters to the French, how they communicate, how they celebrate, what they treasure, and what they dislike.
In more than 15 years of professional work in France and Germany in multinational corporations, small companies, the social services sector, and non-profit organizations, Marion has gained deep insight into how people's backgrounds influence the way they perceive the world and relate to others.
Marion is multilingual and multicultural, has led courses in intercultural communication, and has friends of more than 20 nationalities.
Finding your place in a new city, behaving according to different rules, and understanding the do’s and don’ts are things she can now teach with great empathy.
But most of all, she loves Paris and she wants you to love it, too!
